Email Support

Email Blasts Through SchoolMessenger Service:

Email blasts through SchoolMessenger will often come from alerts@dvrhs.k12.nj.us, but may also come directly from staff member's emails as well. To ensure that you receive general-related blast emails, please make sure to add alerts@dvrhs.k12.nj.us to your safe list to ensure delivery of emails from Del Val.

Did you receive an email that has a blank message or no content? This is a rare occurrence that has been seen sporadically with iPad and iPhone users who access their email using the Apple Mail app on their devices. It is related to the device's iOS (the operating system for Apple mobile devices).

There are a few things you can do to try to rectify this issue: completely quit out of the Mail app and relaunch it, and if it still doesn't load the email properly, restart your phone and re-launch the Mail app. Since it is related to iPhone and iPad users using the Mail app, you can open a web browser (Safari, Chrome, etc.) on your device and try logging into your email provider's email portal, or viewing the email on a laptop or desktop (the email will render because this bug only affects the content loading on an Apple mobile device).

SchoolMessenger App

The SchoolMessenger App allows teachers and school districts to communicate with individuals and groups of parents and students in an app-to-app setting.  Communication is app-to-app, so parents are encouraged to set their devices to allow for push notifications so they are notified when they receive messages.  Users can also visit http://go.schoolmessenger.com on any web browser to view their messages (and respond if applicable). All communication is logged and district/teacher-initiated.  Once a teacher initiates communication with a group of parents, students or individuals, this then allows for those contacted to respond back to the teacher.  Students and parents are unable to create groups, converse with each other, or initiate conversations with teachers without a teacher, advisor, or coach first creating/initiating these groups on their own.

Del Val has built-out the classes, counseling pools, and many of the common athletics and activities that will use the SchoolMessenger app for communication, but teachers can also create their own groups and share out a unique code for their group that allows their members to join.

The SchoolMessenger app is available free on Google Play and Apple iTunes Store!  Registration with the app is pretty simple: download the app, sign-up using the email you have on file with Del Val, click on the link in the verification email you'll receive from SchoolMessenger to confirm your account and then log in with the email that you have on file with Del Val and log in!

ClassTag Connect Messaging App

What is ClassTag Connect & How Do I Access It?

We are excited to announce that Del Val will be using ClassTag Connect this year to unify our teacher-student and family communication. With ClassTag Connect, our students and families will be able to receive communication from teachers, coaches, and group advisors within our Del Val Regional High School community, in which your students participate and/or are enrolled.

Students can view ClassTag notifications and keep up with happenings within classrooms, clubs, and sports teams’ communications in a variety of ways:

  • Directly in your email inbox

  • On our school/district’s ClassTag website

  • On the ClassTag mobile app - Search “ClassTag” on your Del Val iPad or download the app to your phone to stay connected with up-to-date, real-time announcements in your classes, clubs, and sporting groups. The app icon looks like this:
