School Facilities
Use of Delaware Valley Regional High School Facilities
The Delaware Valley Regional High School operates as a hub of activity for many student and community groups throughout the year. We would like to take this opportunity to reinforce some of the requirements as set forth in the DVRHS Use of School Facilities Policy No. 7510 and Application. Copies of each of these documents are available by clicking the links below.
While we are pleased to be able to offer our facilities to the DVR community and its organizations, we must note that failure to follow these rules may result in a suspension or cancellation of the organization’s facility use privileges.
Applications for Use of School Facilities must be made to the School Business Administrator not less than thirty (30) days prior to the requested initial date of use. Applications for Use of School Facilities with fee waiver requests must be made to the School Business Administrator not less than sixty (60) days prior to the requested initial date of use.
No organization shall be permitted to use the DVRHS school facilities unless and until they have received a Facility Use Approval Letter from the Board of Education.
Organizations with outstanding facility use fees will not be granted approval for additional facility use unless and until all outstanding balances are paid in full to the Board of Education.
All organization representatives must be in possession of the copy of the Facility Use Approval Letter issued by the DVRHS Board of Education at all times when using the facility.
It is our goal that these requirements will create a more positive experience for all of our facility users. We thank you in advance for your cooperation and look forward to hosting your organization again in the upcoming school year.
How to Schedule Building Use
Any organization wishing to use our public schools must submit an electronic building use request (see below) to the District at least 10 working days prior to the event. This allows time to complete a Lease/Use Agreement, receive Proof of Insurance, and notify all parties concerned. Requests must be made by an officer of the organization that carries liability insurance for the event.
Organizations holding regular meetings throughout the year need file only one request at the beginning of the year. Requests for use of public school facilities must be renewed each year.
Note: Facility use will not be granted or approved until current liability insurance is on file. Upload as a PDF document or a .jpg graphic file and click submit.
Any event attended by 50 or more people constitutes a public event or gathering and is subjected to regulations ref. National Fire Prevention Act.
A minimum of 1 trained crowd manager per 250 attendees is required, 2 managers per 250 is preferable.
Staff or organizations using our facility need to provide the names of the Certified Crowd Manager(s) and give copies of a valid Crowd Manager Certificate(s) before the facility is approved to be used by the staff or organization.
