Delaware Valley Regional debuted its first Project Lead the Way (PLTW) Engineering course in the 2017-2018 school year with Introduction to Engineering Design. In 2018-2019 we added Civil Engineering and Architecture to the program. This course is available to students who have completed Intro to Engineering Design. Additional courses will be added from a large base of offerings from PLTW based on student interest. Potential additions include: Principles of Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Computer Integrated Manufacturing, Digital Electronics, Environmental Sustainability, and Engineering Design and Development.
Eligibility
In order to successfully graduate from the Engineering Academy, students must complete at least 15 credits (3 full year courses) from the PLTW Engineering course offerings and 20 credits of math, including Honors or AP Calculus.
