Vorilas, Stephanie

School Psychologist

Dr. Stephanie Vorilas is the school psychologist and a case manager at Delaware Valley Regional High School and works directly with the special education child study team and teachers to improve the educational experiences of students. She provides both individual and group counseling, cognitive assessments (i.e., initials, reevaluations, and transitions), and mental health presentations to students. All students are welcome to her office.

Dr. Vorilas graduated from Brooklyn College where she received a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Psychology and minored in Children and Youth Studies. She received further training at Kean University for a Master of Arts (M.A.) in Educational Psychology. In addition to being a Nationally Certified School Psychologist, she received her Doctorate in Psychology (Psy.D.) from Kean University’s Psy.D. Program in Combined School and Clinical Psychology. 

Dr. Vorilas has had a variety of experiences in both educational and hospital settings in NY and NJ. Her research has centered around social-emotional competencies in teachers and students and she has led workshops for educational professionals regarding emotion regulation strategies for children with ASD and/or behavioral difficulties.
